A few years later, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Ace in the Sky was filmed in the same location.
In 2014, the film was nominated for Best Picture and won Best Film.

Dog is set in the fictional Blue Mountains in northern England and tells the story of a young boy named Rory, who, along with his father, a man called Richard, are travelling through the Blue Mountains.
In the film, Rory, a mountain dog called Blue, and Richard, a blue mountain called Blue Mountain, embark on a journey across the Blue Mountain to reach the Great Wall of China.
The film received mixed reviews, but the film made more than $30 million worldwide.
The blue mountain dogs were featured in other movies including the film The Amazing Spiderman 2.
The film also starred John Hurt as Rory and Nicole Kidman as Blue Mountain.
After the film’s release, the BBC announced that it would be producing a sequel to the film.
The second film, entitled Blue Mountain Dogs, was released in 2019 and starred John Cusack, Emily Blunt, Jessica Chastain, and Emma Stone.
Blue Mountain Dogs is the fourth film in the series of Blue Mountain Adventures.
In 2018, a fourth film titled The Blue Mountain Dogs was released.
As with The Amazing Kavaliers &, Ace in The Sky, Blue Mountain dogs are also available for streaming on Netflix.
